La casa de las Spellman es derrumbada tras la cancelación de «El Mundo Oculto de Sabrina»

Tras haber sido sorpresivamente cancelada por Netflix en julio de este año, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, creador y showrunner de «El Mundo Oculto de Sabrina» (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), reveló que se ha derrumbado el set de rodaje que servía como la fachada exterior de la casa de las brujas Spellman y la entrada de la Academia de las Artes Ocultas.

“Antes de que empezara el rodaje, pasamos muchas, muchas semanas buscando la casa de las Spellman. Al final, nuestro increíble diseñador de producción, @lieselottesoper, dijo: ‘Creo que tenemos que construirla. Esto tiene que ser tan icónico como la casa de Psycho’”, mencionó Aguirre-Sacasa en su cuenta de Instagram, acompañando un vídeo de la demolición.

Prepare yourselves, Coven. This one is brutal. A lot of love and magic went into this witch-house. A lot of memories were made within its walls. A lot of late nights were spent here. With a lot of mosquitoes and a lot of frogs. And a lot of wonderful people all dreaming the same dark dream. In the end, our incredible production designer @lieselottesoper said: “I think we need to build it. This has to be as iconic as the Psycho house.” And that’s what Lisa and her team made. She was there today when they knocked it down. And she saved certain things, including the house’s weathervane. (And maybe the odd wooden frog or two.) We haven’t seen the last of that weathervane. As Zelda says in Part Four: “There is no death for witches. Only transformation.” The story of the witches of Greendale isn’t over. We still have Part Four, waiting for you, with the Eldritch terrors. And after that… Well, come closer and I’ll tell you a secret…????????‍?‍??‍♂️????‍??

Sin una fecha de estreno todavía programada, se presume que la cuarta temporada de la serie será estrenada a finales de octubre en la plataforma de streaming, justo para celebrar Halloween y el cumpleaños de Sabrina Spellman.

La última temporada de «El Mundo Oculto de Sabrina» tendrá ocho episodios, y contará con la presencia de Kiernan Shipka (Noches Blancas), Ross Lynch (Austin y Ally), Gavin Leatherwood (#WhenTodayEnds), Lucy Davis (Mujer Maravilla), Tati Gabrielle (Los 100), Miranda Otto (El Señor de los Anillos: Las Dos Torres), entre otros.
